“Allensworth” is a Southern California Soul band that fuses rock and soul into a melting pot of true life anthemic stories. The authentic sound derives from the bands diverse cultures and surroundings. Comprised of musicians from Northern and Southern California Allensworth unites their influences from the Bay area to LA back down to Huntington Beach.
Diving deeply into the soul tradition of James Brown, Otis Redding, and Curtis Mayfield (just to name a few), Jamie Allensworth pays tribute with his own flavor alike current acts such as Alabama Shakes, Michael Kiwanuka, and Tame Impala all the while staying true to his unique craft of songwriting.
