DJ Corbett is a singer, songwriter and producer.  As a young man DJ always had an overwhelming connection with music but after being introduced to music production in 2006, Corbett was immediately inspired to start writing and producing his own style of music. His basketball career was postponed when he decided to pursue music at The Institute for Production and Recording in Minneapolis, MN.  It was in the musical hotbed of Minneapolis that Corbett began working with other local producers and artists, refining his production and songwriting skills.  


After a few years of working with local talent, Corbett landed a placement with New York underground rapper Saigon in 2010.  The song "Bring Me Down" went on to be co-produced by Just Blaze and featured Corbett's vocals on the song's chorus. The track was recently used for the promotion of the major motion picture Sabotage starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Corbett has since created and produced many more songs with Saigon and other artists including:
